How optional analytics, local practice progress and account sync work on Fun UI Playground, including account and data deletion controls.
Fun UI works without an account. Analytics and cloud progress sync are optional and serve different purposes.
Analytics
Google Analytics is disabled until you choose Accept in the consent banner. It is used to understand which pages are useful; Fun UI does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. Choosing Decline keeps analytics disabled.
Local progress
Theme, completed challenges, bug-hunt findings, badges and practice settings are stored in your browser. Use “Reset local data” in the footer to remove them from this device.
Optional account sync
If you create an account or sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication manages the account and Firestore stores your completed challenge ids, bug-hunt findings and badge progress. Practice inputs, uploaded files and challenge credentials are not synced.
Control and deletion
Signed-in users can review, sign out of or permanently delete their account from the profile page. Account deletion removes the authentication account and its synced progress. Local browser data can be reset separately.
Service providers
Google provides Analytics and Firebase services. Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy documentation. Fun UI does not sell personal data.
